As reported on the unofficial wiki : http://en.pardus-wiki.org/Dell_Vostro_1000 I have problems concerning brightness control and suspension/hibernation together with BIOS hangs, and also the SD/MMC card reader not working... I found that these problems are connected with the kernel 2.6.25 (I had these problems on other distros too)... and that they were all fixed by the kernel 2.6.27 but unfixed by the 2.6.28. So is there a plan for kernel upgrading on devel... or somehow find out where the fixes got on 2.6.27 and add to the .25 as patching like the whole patching that pardus did and got the pardus-kernel 2.6.25.20? Also another request is a PAE enabled version of the official kernel... It uses python, so we can say that python interpreter is started up :) The project name is "mudur" . Before going to take a look at the actual code, I'd suggest you read these articles first; http://pardus.org.tr/eng/projects/comar/PythonInPardus.html Please read all of the documents to fully understand python's role in Pardus. An other thing is a possibility to upgrade the latest Pardus 2008.x release to Pardus 2009 ? is something like that possible in future releases, or are there plans for this (in example "Rolling Release" as in Debian/Ubuntu ...) ? We currently do not have packages for Libssh. As a result I suspect I will have to package the library. My question is, are libraries packaged just like any other application?
