[Pardus-devel] Tasma or Kcontrol in Pardus 2009 ?

Hello,

there are rumors around the web, that TASMA will no longer exist in Pardus
2009. I of course know that TASMA is a fork of KDE's "System Settings"-tool
with additional extensions like the Pardus display-manager, boot-manager,
user-manager, disk-manager, etc. ...

But what I mean ist, that TASMA became around the years a brand of Pardus
GNU/Linux - like YAST in Suse or MCC in Mandriva ... And so I think we
should continue using _our_ own toll TASMA.

An other Point why to keep TASMA, is that the design concept behind TASMA is
really user friendly. Many users of KDE 4 doen't like the new design of its
"System Settings"-tool (kcontrol). The kcontrol of KDE 4 is more Kubuntu
orientated :-/
TASMA has a more clearer design, than the kcontrol of KDE 4 - we should keep
maintaining our "own" product named TASMA ... ;-)

I hope you can give me more precise answer.

Best regards,
Gürkan Zengin
