installed it alas nothing seemed to change apart from the
(re-)appearence of the link in the start menu for ATI Catalyst Control
Center which tells me that "There was a problem initializing Catalyst
Control Center Linux edition. It could be caused by the following.
No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not
functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your
ATI hardwire, or configure using aticonfig"
the installed card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 btw. I was getting the
same error after trying to install from run file from ATI's website on
my previous attempts. Shall I proceed from here and replace the Driver
name with "flgx" (or whatever that was) in xorg.conf?
