Sometimes all you need is someone to point the elephant in the room! I 
"theoretically" knew that the profiles are stored in "."prefixed folders 
under the /home/useraccount/ but only after your suggestion and imply it 
occured to me to place the previous tomboy's profile there! 8) Thank you 
very much!

Now basket imported the xml notes from tomboy and I'll be trying to get 
used to using basket but oh boy, if only... ah tomboy! nice software, 
bad code (for god's sake, why do they even need all those dependencies!) 8(
