That printer got 2 penguins:

I am not sure it will work. I had some problem with printers/linux myself.
So I only go for printers with 3 penguins now if using Linux:

Both "sane" and "xsane" are installed along with cups.  the U.L.Driver Installer does not see that I have sane and xsane installed.
Running Pardus 2011.1 KDE4.... New install...
Upon running ./cdroot/autorun  I get the above notice error.  HELP
 wanted. I need this printer to work for my business...
