[Pardus-users] Question about installing Scribus 1.4 in Pardus 2011.2

Hi everybody! Hope you are having a great day. Im a new Pardus user, but I
have been using linux for some years.

I was wondering how can I install Scribus 1.4 in Pardus 2011.2? In the
repositories the only version available is the 1.3.9.

I tried to install it using the *.pkg file of scribus. I define it as a
executable file, but every time I click on it a dialog windows appears,
asking me to select a program to execute it.

I appreciate your help.
